"Unprofessional/racist staff. When I went in to the office to address the constant leaks in numerous places in my apartment & the endless maintenance issues I’ve endured my entire stay here at this property; their staff members said they’d be right out to address my concerns & instead, called the police on me. Do not move here, they are slumlords!!"

"Staff is always irritated and bothered whenever you call about a maintenance issue. Several leaks in the ceiling since my son has moved in. I can deal with basic maintenance issues but it's HELL trying to deal with unnecessary attitudes when you call about their property issues. (There was a leak in my son's living room. They came out checked it and said the upstairs unit had an air conditioning leak. They cut a whole in his ceiling and said they'd be back next week to repair it. Well, 4 days later, I call to ask when will they be able to get to it. The lady says "When we get to it". Excuse me??? Can i get an estimate of when? This week, next week? She goes on to say " I dont know, we have alot of leaks that need to be repaired ". If they could fix leak issues and get a pleasant staff, the apartments would be great for the price and area."

"I have lived at Pine Meadows for 3 years (Demographically, I am a mid-20s, straight, white, female grad student). I'm giving the complex 4 stars because you get what you're willing to pay for-- if you're looking for the most updated interiors and high-end amenities, you're not going to find that in this price range. That said, I felt comfortable and safe enough to continue renewing my lease. Maintenance was always timely and very friendly. I had no issues with office management, and even though I did not interact with them often (not much beyond paying rent monthly), they seemed to know who I was. Sound travels through the walls, I was always able to hear my neighbors TV and raised voices, and my upstairs neighbor's nightly activities. The complex is very pet friendly and provides doggie stations, but unfortunately not all of the tenants clean up after their pets. Parking has been an issue at times and definitely needs to be improved, but as someone who doesn't come home too late in the evening I have only had a handle of times where finding a spot was an issue. Some of the tenants do some suspicious things and a few years back there was substantial drug-related activity in the parking lot, but that seems to have been resolved. All of my neighbors have been friendly and I haven't had a problem with anyone. The area was really convenient for a grad student lifestyle-- quiet enough to work from home (the second bedroom made for a great office), 10 min drive from campus, 4 minutes to 475, and both Kroger and Dollar General within walking distance."
