"Do NOT live here! The building I lived in made me incredibly sick and all that the property manager did was gaslight me and paint over the problem. The appliances are 50+ years old and receive no maintenance and the place is full of mold. Nobody cleans up after their dogs, the washer and dryers were awful, and the buildings should be condemned."

"The manager Chris is very helpful and accomodating along with his team Mike and Chuck. I am disabled and my service dogs LOVE them! I have been living here for the last 2 years and they are always willing to help me with even the most simple tasks. Always completing work orders within a reasonable amount of time. Absolutely love living here. They really make my feel like I'm not alone here and show that they really care. If I could give 10 stars I would."

"I have lived here at the New England Lane Apartments for over 2 years now. I have been pleased with management & how quickly they always come if there is ever a problem even if it is very minor. They are pet friendly & always have waste bags available for use unlike some of the other reviews have mentioned. For the price of what you are paying you cannot beat for location, pool, pet friendly, how efficient and helpful all of the apartment staff are. Veronica is the sweetest woman you will ever meet! I always recommend New England if someone is looking for affordable, clean, & safe location! The apartments are dated but they have done tons of renovations that you wouldn’t even know they are. I would say the only thing left in the actual apartments is the kitchen remodeling. I am very pleased with living here && I hope you consider New England Lane Apartments because they truly treat you like home here."

"Advice I have while you are apartment hunting at New England Lane - LOOK around. Don't just stick to the section the manager shows you. I mean really take the time to look and you will notice: - dirty doors and hallways - old (and pretty disgusting) laundry facilities - hedges that appear to have never been trimmed and weeds - overflowing dumpsters - pet stations that are frequently empty of bags and/or overflowing with waste - a large and potentially hazardous pothole in one of the drives - sidewalks that go without the snow being removed Noise - Very thin / non-insulated walls. In a one bedroom, you will be sharing a wall with your neighbor. If they have a loud tv, stereo, fan, etc you will hear it. You can also hear the neighbors above/below you very easily. There is a shared entrance with doorways separating the front and back of the building. If there are kids in the building (which there are sure to be), expect to hear these doors slam open and shut multiple times per day. I counted one day - I heard the doors slam 20 times in an hour. Picture a constantly slamming door...now tell me if that sounds like a great place to live? Management for me is where the property takes the biggest hit. Other reviewers have said that they are "unprofessional, immature, petty, and spiteful." That too was my impression. I tried nicely at first to approach them about a basic maintenance issue and it was clear from the get-go that they were not going to be kind or helpful when it came to any requests. They are only nice when you are a potential new renter. If you ask for anything, you will find you are fighting a losing battle. I ended up having to escrow my rent after waitng over 6 months (half of my lease) for them to resolve an issue. Bottom line...I would give it an negative score if I could."
