Welcome to The Heartland Complex, located at 4224 Harding Highway in Lima, Ohio, United States. Our institution offers a unique living experience with a focus on providing each resident with privacy and comfort.
At The Heartland, 100% of the Ada Heartland and 80% of the Lima Heartland bedrooms are private, allowing residents to have their own personal space. Residents can choose their preferred bedroom from available options on a first-come-first-serve basis.
We provide residential clothes washers and dryers for residents to use at no extra cost. Additionally, we offer a 12-month lease with a 9-month early termination option, allowing students to save money over the summer months.
Our security deposit, equivalent to two months' rent, is due upon reserving a room and is returned at the end of the lease if all conditions are met. Rent and utility bills are due on the first of each month and can be paid electronically or by check, cash, or money order.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the premises. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and comfortable living environment for all residents. Come join us at The Heartland Complex for a convenient and affordable living experience.

"My stay here was great! It was really nice to have my own room and the shared spaces were perfect, especially for the price. The only problem i had was with the water, it smelled of sulfur. The owner was great and even had someone come out to fix it. He was always easy to contact and routinely came to the house to post rent and checkup on anything we needed! - Bring a water filter and communicate with your roommates! Thanks for a great home for the year!"
"There is no other place that I would have had our daughter stay, for her first year at University. The landlord was extremely responsive, many upgrades had been made to the property and the pricing is unbelievably fair, especially given the prices of some of the other options in the area. If you're looking for a great place for your kid to stay, this is it!"
"After coming to live here, I can say it's a nice experience. The place has a nice layout, and the owner has made sure the place is up kept and functional, and has had things fixed when the problem is brought up. Also being inexpensive, it is a place I would reccomend staying, whether for college or any circumstance."
"The water here SMELLS and tastes really bad. The WiFi, Hot water heater and washing machine went out multiple time over the two years lived here. Police had been called multiple times and our house was actually broken into. The master keys to our rooms were discovered by other tenants and strangers would break into our rooms. The house did not heat/cool property as well so my bedroom was extremely hot. One of the 5 Star reviews on here is by the landlords son and the other is from a man that personally had his room broken into and his laptop smashed so I would find it hard to believe he wasn’t paid for writing a good review. Long meadow is expensive but PLEASE do yourself a favor and spend more for a much more tolerable experience."
"Great place to stay! 80% of the bedrooms are private, furniture is provided by the owner, more space per student and a lot less expensive than Longmeadow. Even the two shared rooms only have two residents/room and the rooms are 3-4 times the size of the shared rooms at Longmeadow. Owner is pretty strict but he has always been fair with me. Highly recommended!"
