Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lima

"The room smelled like feet and stinky shoes upon arrival - the heat was pumping in the small room. Hair in shower, hair on bed. Numerous stains on the curtains, chair, shower and the base of the toilet. TV has the wifi/cable box taped to the back (unsuccessfully - it keeps falling off) TV periodically shuts off and is a pain to get it back on. Pillows were comfortable. The girl at the front desk is everything. She is attentive and helpful, as well as extremely kind- she was training someone new at how to check us in/ where things were and she was very knowledgeable about her job. She was the best part of the stay. I was caught in the snow 2 hours away from home, and decided to stay here for the night - expecting the roads to have been cleared by morning. To my surprise, the roads in Lima looked nearly the same in the morning. Warning - Lima does not clear the snow from streets in a timely manner. P.S. didn't even notice the train / wasn't a bother"

"Service and breakfast was great! My only complaint is that we booked this hotel with the pool in mind for my daughter to play in but it was closed due to safety issues and upgrades that needed to be done. Even though it was closed it still looked clean and refreshing! I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with fur companions as well!"

"Booked a hotel room online not knowing the location was next to the railroad tracks. Tried to refund but wasn't allowed then , with having a pet we were charged 75 fee +20 cleaning fee which we could have gotten from other hotels not next to the railroad for under $30. Next we have the beautiful room 109 next to the closed pool that they decided to do construction on the wall were our headboards was at 8am. We have a 9hr drive to the east coast. We went to get breakfast after we tried to get ourselves together to find out breakfast was done at 9am. We spent just a hair over $200 for one of the worst experiences I've had with a hotel being charged outrage an price. I will DEFINITELY not stay here but rather the Howard Johnson or others for half the price. *set aside when we were leaving one of the cart wheels was flat*"

"Was grossly overcharged with rudeness as the answer. Beds are uncomfortable & lumpy, no house keeping in 5 day stay. Pool was down whole week had been closed for months from what I see in reviews. Water went off one day. They said it was a water line break. Manager unprofessional & rude. Big time thieves charged my card double."
