"As a Flight Attendant for American Airlines I needed to relocate to Defiance County, where I grew up. I was interested in a house listed by Gary Butler of Butler Realty in Defiance. I viewed the home and wasn’t for sure and needed to think on it. Mr Butler claimed there was 3 other people viewing them property and that stuck in my mind as I was driving back to Arizona to see my home there. On my way to Hicksville I called a real estate agent I was familiar with to run up an offer. I didn’t want to turn around and drive all the way back to Defiance. I literally stopped in Hicksville to sign the contract and then I was on my way to Arizona. About the time I was passing through Missouri I get a call from a realtor that wrote up the contract for me that Gary Butler was livid I didn’t have HIM write it up? He was very rude and unprofessional to her and actually made me feel like I was dealing with a spoiled little toddler. I ended up speaking w Mr Butler who of course lied and denied everything. I ended up counter offering on that home and was supposedly outbid by another customer. I will research later. As a professional in my industry I implore you to NOT do business with Butler Realty or Gary Butler. I fly all over this country try and it’s rare I ever encounter someone who acts like a untrustworthy child but Gary Butler meets that criteria. My advice to you as a home buyer, do business with someone else!"
