"I recently went to Prairie Dental for an exam and cleaning. This was definitely the best dental experience I have had. The front desk welcomed me once I walked in and the wait was really short. The staff members there were super nice! I feel like the dentist Dr. Parker wanted to help me understand what I needed and why, and took his time answering all of my questions. The front desk person, Melodie, helped me understand my insurance as well. I feel really lucky to have found this dental office. Plus, they give a cookie at the end of the appointment."

"Cannot recommend to go somewhere else enough. The actual dentist and hygienist were fine and friendly, but the Office Manager Melody ruins the entire business. Many of my family members have been going to this dentist for years and when the need arose for myself to get a new dentist I decided to try them out. I called ahead of time to make sure they were in network for insurance, and Melody chuckled "We accept all insurance Mr. Finley". I took this as affirmation that my question was answered as they were in network, as any patient would want. I went to the appointment and everything is fine, everything is paid for, good to go. They want me to get a filling in which the price was over $400, I did not believe this to be accurate. I called my insurance company to ask why this isn't being covered, and it was only until then that the insurance company told me the office isn't in network. The office staff "had no idea" why the price was so high. I called the office agitated with this and they deny any connection. Then a few weeks later they send me a bill in the mail for several hundred dollars even after insurance paid them several hundred dollars. The office refuses to waive this and doubles down that they are at no fault for not disclosing any pricing information. Their billing practices are bad business and very deceptive, and the rest of my family, in network or not will be seeing another dentist over this. Again, their billing and office workers are deceptive by not necessarily lying but also not being forward with the truth and try to "sting" their customers with charges. I would also like to note that Melody seems too money centric as when I was in the office she was bragging about getting a mother to bring her child in for a procedure because she said "we're going to make some money today!" with other workers thinking this was amusing, furthering my point of deceptive practices."

"I cannot praise this practice enough. Very professional and thorough. I have been bringing my son here since he was about 5. He is 15 now. I now come here myself and I have never looked back. Every one is professional and genuinely nice."

"My last appointment was one of the worst experiences of any dental visit I’ve ever had. The dental assistant scraped my teeth to the point she was asking me if I was ok. But 6 months ago I was fine. And 6 months before that. That was 2 weeks ago and my teeth and gums still hurt me. They try to push the deep cleaning or root planing. I was informed during the visit that my insurance pays for it every 2 years. So the dental assistant said I needed to come back in 2 weeks to check to see if I needed root planing. The dentist (new guy, seemed like a nice guy) told the receptionist I didn’t need to come back in 2 weeks but the dental assistant yelled up and asked if I was trying to get out of coming back. She overrode the new dentist? Needless to say I’m not going back."

"I have been going to Dr. Dave for years. When work changed my insurance I tried 2 other dentists. One was too ruff and the other did really poor work. Luckily I found insurance and went back to Prairie. Dr. Dave fixed the work that was not up to par. He is very gentle and a perfectionist. Need a great Dentist go see Dr. Dave."
