"Horrible!!! I called on a Thursday in excruciating pain from a tooth that they already addressed and did not get a call back until Tuesday the following week. By then I found a new dentist that had already pulled the tooth. Don't waste your time or money here. They do not care about the patients"

"Went there in a lot of pain and waited for hours, because they only take 15 walk-ins daily. I got a wonderful student that really did an excellent job, took X-rays and explained everything to me and the choices I could make. I'm in the process of a Root Canal and I'm so glad that I chose this route to save my tooth."

"I am not one to leave reviews. This was a terrible experience. I go in for a new patient appointment - an x-ray and a cleaning - and come out feeling embarrassed and upset. I have gone to the dentist every 6 months for my entire life, and have never had major problems with my teeth - and when I have had issues, my previous dentist has handled it with respect and care. As soon as Dr. Amer came in to examine my teeth, he exuded condescension and judgment, completely lacking bedside manners. He peppered me with questions such as "Are you SURE the last time you went to the dentist was less than a year ago?", Yes. "Do you grind your teeth at night?", No. "Do you wear your retainer?", Yes. He ultimately told me that I have a cavity - this was somewhat of a shock, but of course, I knew it was an easy fix with a filling. He could have left it at that, shown me my x-ray, scheduled a filling, and sent me on my way. However, that is not what happened. Dr. Amer pulled up my x-ray, and without asking if I had any basic knowledge on enamel and teeth structure, proceeded to talk AT me for upwards of 10 minutes about what enamel is and how cavities are holes in the teeth. He continually questioned how I could have possibly not known that I had a cavity if I had been to the dentist within the last year - and since cavities take years to develop, I should have prevented this from happening. I told him that I could not feel anything, and he still didn't seem to believe me. He then asked me what my drink of choice was and before I could even spit out an answer, he offered "Mt. Dew??". I told him that I drank mostly water and occasionally coffee, and he did not seem to believe me in the slightest. He repeatedly said that we would need to discuss my diet going forward, so that my whole mouth doesn’t end up this way. This method may work for some people, but I have no trust in doctors who do not believe their patients or who villainize them for getting a single cavity that can be simply fixed with a filling. I have no trust in doctors that - on an intake appointment - do not ask their patients anything about their previous dental history before beginning the appointment. I have no trust in doctors that treat their patients with a tone of disrespect and patronization. With that being said, the dental hygienists were lovely and I appreciate their help and consolation after my discouraging time with the doctor. But I will not be coming again and I do not recommend anyone to this practice."

"I absolutely LOVE the students and faculty here. I have had such AWFUL experiences at dentist offices in the past, but coming here has been a BLESSING to my mental and oral health. My dental student is phenomenal and very accommodating. They were awesome at explaining what needed to be done at that appointment and the direction we needed to go from there. The faculty is there in the blink of an eye to help if questions arise. I’m EXTREMELY grateful for how caring and, at the same time, PROFESSIONAL, the dental students have been. I highly recommend OSU Dental for the family. It may seem to be a long process, but well worth the care and treatment they give."
