"I am so thankful to Dr. Bohme and his dental staff. Eight years ago (May 26, 2014), we had recently just moved back to the Dayton area when my partial filling broke off from my top middle front tooth. I was frantic because in two days we were going on our retirement Caribbean 8 day cruise. I searched for several hours trying to find a local dentist that could fix my tooth that same day. Fortunately for me, Dr. Bohme’s office said they could most likely fix it. I went in and Dr. Bohme recommended a full crown over the tooth, he did the work that day, and I was so happy with the finished crown work. Well, eight years later (03/29/2022) at dinnertime, I was eating a salad and forgot I had a crown on my front tooth and bit down on a broccoli stalk and broke the crowned tooth to the gums, OUCH. The next day I called Dr. Bohme office and they were extremely busy, but found sometime to squeeze me in for an appointment. They took an x-ray and Dr. Bohme said I would need to come in for a root canal and possibly a new crown if they could not save the old one. They scheduled me for the root on 18 April 2022, well, I started to get a headache and throbbing in the broken off tooth. I started to get anxious and nervous about having a root canal, and then decided I was going to get the broken off tooth extracted (pulled) and by-pass the recommended root canal. I called Dr. Bohme office to get a recommendation for a local Oral Surgeon that could put me asleep to pull the broken off tooth. The recommended Oral Surgeon could not do the consult until July 22, 2022. I said oh no, well, I just have to have Dr. Bohme pull it while I am AWOKE! I reluctantly called back to Dr. Bohme office and made an appointment to have him pull the tooth. Dr. Bohme again recommended I not pull it and get a root canal and crown; he said are you really going to wear the partial if you get it pulled, I thought probably not, I had another partial they had made for me six years ago and I lost it after two days of trying to wear it. So to make a long story short, I received the root canal and crown on yesterday. I am doing well, and have no pain today. Thank you again Dr. Bohme to you and your amazing staff of Ladies that repeatedly tried to put me at ease during the procedure. Dr. Bohme was so gentle I began to relax, of course I kept praying for my strength in the Lord, (LOL). Thank you, Ada M"
