"Dr. Kim is wonderful however, they refuse to do an explanation of benefits prior to your surgery. I don’t think they own a fax machine either. They would not schedule our surgery until I agreed to pay full amount of 2101$ because they said Superior Dental was not calling them back and was sold and not paying claims in a timely manner. Again not my fault as I have insurance for this reason. If they don’t want to work with insurance then don’t accept it. Also day of surgery they would not show me the math and or bill and asked me to pay extra. They said we like to “pad the bill because Superior doesn’t pay. And patient can get a refund later.” How is this allowed? They then made me wait in the car when they had told me I would have to wait in the room. They wanted me out of the office because I was asking questions and another client was there listening to their shady processes That I was calling them out on. All three of my kids used Dr Kim and if it weren’t for that we would have gone elsewhere. I am thankful that nobody in my family has to ever see him again due to his wife who is the office manager and the incompetent admin staff who do not know How to run an office ."

"The staff was friendly, on-point, and efficient. The facility was very clean and cozy, and Dr. Kim was friendly and professional, and explained what was happening, and what was needed to remedy the issue. The procedure was done in a very professional and efficient manner that you can only get from a Doctor with many years of experience in these matters. I can't say enough about how great the experience was compared to what it could have been. I would very strongly recommend Dr. Kim and his staff, they are all very good at what they do."

"Went in this morning to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted. I’ve never had a tooth pulled, I was honestly terrified. The staff was absolutely amazing. Very sweet and comforting. Dr. Kim was up front with everything. Even potential risks. This man knocked me out and took out all 4 of my impacted teeth in less than an hour. I’m very thankful for him and his wonderful staff for making this a good experience for me. Limited pain and I can deal with that. Thank you all so very much!"

"I went in for my wisdom teeth to be pulled and they wanted the money up front which was $2,300. And it was like a assembly line rush you in and out so he can make lots of money. And no pain pills I was miserable. I do not recommend this guy!!"

"....and the saga continues. This is pure Incompetence! Kim's office made me pay my $579 bill in full upfront. Ok.Just finding out my insurance sent THEM the $179 I was to be reimbursed with. They've had this check since ~13Jan. Today is 30Jan. Receptionist said she didn't know when theyll reimburse me. Perhaps this is the norm for some companies to operate like this, but i believe it says a lot about their opinion of their customers. Just to think, they didn't bother to file my claim w Delta until I called nearly 2 months after my serviice. If they make you pay up front, make sure to immediately file your own claim w your insurance. This is wrong. It's shows a level of arrogance? laziness? Incompetence? ------------‐--‐ I had a wisdom tooth removed Nov 8, 2022. I told them ahead of time I wanted nitrous oxide (laughing gas). Well, after my experience, Dr Kim was the only one laughing. 1) They charged me $195 for nitrous oxide. (My regular dentist only charges $90 but so glad I accepted after my experience). After I arrived, despite having Delta, a dental insurance they accept, they still made me pay for the entire bill $589, upfront - and then failed to submit my claim to Delta until I inquired of the status nearly 2 months later. 2) Despite being on Nitrous Oxide, I thought Kim was trying to rip my head from my shoulders as fiercely and as long as he had to yank on my tooth to remove it. He was pulling on it so hard, his tool slipped several times, once really cracking hard against my adjacent tooth. 3) After Kim pulled my tooth I started having pain from the adjacent tooth while brushing. I believe it was damaged when Dr Kim's tool slipped and hit it. I returned later to have it checked. After an xray - of course which I had to pay for upfront - he didn't see any damage so sent me on my way. I only wish the pain was a figment of my imagination. Visit this guy at your own risk. Of course there's a mix of reviews but this is mine. I'm curious to know as well if they require full payment upfront from all their patients w accepted insurance, or if it was just me. Except for Dr Kim, I likely earn more than all of them and always pay my expenses immediately upon coming due. I've come across dentists who require payment upfront but they take care to advertise that well before getting to the office. I would appreciate knowing if anyone else had a similar experience.
