The Fitzwater:

"Took my sons car there (2008 malibu) with a complaint of the steering wheel shaking, by itself while sitting still or driving. Was told it needed a whole new rack and pinion by assistant service manager Ryan. We agreed to have it done. 1 to 2 days for completion. Dropped off 11/29 picked it up 2 days later on Friday. Immediately drove it back for the same complaint. After being told the $1200 job was not the cause of the problem, they said they would fix it, STATING THE MECHANIC NEVER SEEN THE COMPLAINT OF THE WHEEL SHAKING... So why did you replace the whole rack and pinion without seeing the issue? After alot of "we're waiting on parts" it's done. So again picked it up on DECEMBER 11TH, now noticing a second time( had previously informed asst. service manager, which he said would be fixed) that a rubber boot on the brand new rack and pinion is twisted and hanging loose. They took it in and fixed it. What i beleive to be the main Service manager clearly seeing I'm upset tried to explain that they were doing me a favor by not charging me for replacing parts that were replaced due to misdiagnosing. So after 13 days the car is hopefully fixed. But like always they also "understood my frustration." So at least they know whomever was doing the work is incompetent. Never again will I ever do buisness here again, to which I'm sure they will reply they've done everything they could or some other line of nonsense."
