"I had a bolt in my tire. A mechanic plugged it but before doing that he told me my tires were legally bald and needed to be replaced. I told him the tires weren’t that old and that I had purchased a protection plan so I would take it in for evaluation at the place where I bought the tires. When I got home, I checked my receipt. The tires were 85,000 mile tires and only had 30,000 miles on them. I took the car into the tire store where I purchased them. A mechanic told me they didn’t need to be replaced, and I had 30,000 miles left on them."
