"FOLLOW UP: the paint on my bumper after their redo has cracked everywhere. looks like they didnt add a flex agent. After long consideration, I've decided to post this as the team tried to correct some issues, but I have found too many serious issues to ignore. I've previously taken two cars to Johnny V's/Carstar of North Fairfield, sent several friends and neighbors, and sent business to have signs painted there. Unfortunately my last experience with them flipped my view. Under a fender I have exposed bare metal, and what looks like welder-blown through holes and bare body filler showing. The paint literally peeled off my bumper, admitted to wrong prep work, which they resprayed, unfortunately now with some inconsistent textures. Turn signals were not reconnected. Side markers were not reconnected. Didnt install my fender liners, which caused my turn signal wires to get pulled into my tires and required new harnesses. Fender liners have since been installed, but I have found nearly a half dozen plastic rivots missing or the wrong size throughout. Nuts holding turn signals in were finger tight and one was missing. The underside of my car, theres a body plug that isnt sealed where it was dented. Theres a two foot long paint run on a rocker, a run above my tail lens, paint runs at my door jambs, several dozen nibs, orange peel thats inconsistent from the top to bottom of a panel. Bad tape lines painting over fender liners and trim. Overspray and marks on neighboring panels that were not painted. This car was a consistent show car and part time race car, now Im searching for another shop to fix this mess."
