"I'm always suspicious about five star reviews. Typically those are left by people with low information levels who simply had a transaction. This one was earned. I had taken my BMW F30 to a different mechanic, who completely tried to scam me. When my car was reporting low oil pressure, I knew I needed somebody who knew what they were doing and it wasn't going to lie about it. I had posted in Reddit Cincinnati, and several places had recommended D-Tech. When I dropped the car off, he asked me questions about it for half an hour. When he was having issues getting a correct diagnosis, he admitted it, and sent a lot of supporting documentation with a very detailed narrative. He also asked me to authorize more investigative repairs before he just did them, which I did. It turns out my problem was one that the last mechanic said was no issue at all. I was sent a lot of supporting documentation and photographs. Once the diagnosis was made, a nearly complete engine teardown and rebuild was completed within a day. Pricing was industry standard, but a lot of diagnostics got thrown in. It's really great seeing honest people doing good work."
