"Shady trails still muddy in places but very nice if you want to avoid the heat."

"We love walking here. It gives us the opportunity to really soak in nature. It's just the right length to where we are not feeling wore out walking the entire trail. The trails in this preserve are maintained for the most part. They're kept trimmed so that we aren't getting snagged by the sticker bushes and such. I only wish they would pull gravel from the creek beds more often to avoid the softened, sunken, muddy spots all along the trails. We do appreciate the benched throughout. Our children get tired from time to time, and these benches have provided them a resting spot. These trails are some what stroller friendly. There are places where tree roots protrude from the ground (just makes for a bumpy ride for our toddler). There are no restrooms on these trails, so make sure you've gone before walking. Many of the times we have gone, people have actually been riding their bikes on this trail (even though there is signage saying they are not allowed). In all, it is a great place to enjoy nature and get some exercise with the family."
