Warren County Armco Park

"I played a round on the disc golf course and it was not for me. I'm not super beginner but I don't have the arm strength to get more than 150-200ft on a drive, so some of the distances on this course were pretty rough for me. I used the udisc app to find each tee, it was not intuitive on some holes. Didn't see any of the park signs pointing to tee 1 so I wandered a bit and found it. The location of the basket was tough to judge on some holes until you're right on top of it. Some holes with steep uphill/downhill which wear me out quickly. Fairly thick brush along maybe half the holes, amazing I didn't lose any discs but I did get my pants and shoes covered in prickly little bits of some annoying plant. Several holes with water on one side or the other, and several with streams in the field of play. I got thru the 18 holes in about 2hr 15min."

"Know where your want to go, Armco is huge and yet it still has a community feel. Great for family gatherings read the rules before you come with beverages, and plan ahead. Was multiple entrances it can get a little confusing on where you need to go through the park I had to suggest you stare at the map just a little bit to make sure you know where you want to go. The rentals for the boats are okayish. I highly suggest that you look at the spot before you want to rent it sometime is a good-looking locations on the map doesn't necessarily means it's the good looking location in real life."

"Warren County Armco Park is still beautiful. This is a park with a lot of land and diverse wildlife, especially where there is dense foilage and trees around the good size lake. There are many picnic shelters, walking trails, golf course, volleyball and tennis courts, a baseball field and lots of playgrounds."

"Second time I've been here and I'll be going again soon. Everyone loved it. We parked near the waterfall and there was no one there. We grilled and had a picnic. We went to the fishing docks right before they closed and watched a beautiful sun setting. The kids were happy watching the ducks. It was a really nice day overall."
