Valerie's Barber Shop

"Not accepting new clients, so unfortunately I cannot speak to her expertise. This review is for the process in finding out that this is the case. Tried calling on a Saturday which happened to be the 2nd Saturday of the month, so business is closed per the voicemail. Ok... Tried calling Monday but was unable to reach anyone and the voicemail was updated saying she was booked for the day. No problem so far... Left a message to get scheduled. Received a callback from 'no caller ID' much later (early evening). Did not answer it, and the voicemail I received was from Valerie stating she was not accepting new clients. So how about updating information online and keeping a consistent voicemail for the business stating new clients are not welcome, and I will continue to look for someone, three days ago having had this information already? :("

"Super consistent haircuts. The first barber I've been to who can do a true flat-top. Every time I go in she gets my hair to look as I want it. The only knock I'd have on the place is that she only takes she only takes same day appointments so it can be difficult to get in some days, but it usually isn't much of an issue as long as you call early."

"Been going to Valerie several years now. Great barber! Very friendly, treats everyone with the respect deserved. She always gives a great haircut! My hair gets bushy more so than long. In the past I've usually always had to tell barbers to 'thin it out more', but not so much with Valerie. From the first time I started going there, she always could tell this, and almost always accounts for that! (and you very rarely get those little hairs down your back to bother you the rest of the day!) Always an enjoyable experience, in more ways than one!
