"I absolutely love our Y and I would suggest everyone come but it’s a family, friendly atmosphere. No bullies allowed. The classes are amazing and the staff are so kind and the facility is always clean."
"I like that it is a smaller gym, but with plenty of options. The staff are friendly so I feel less anxious about visiting a gym. The class that I attend every Thursday afternoon is great. As someone who is obese and always worried about the weight capacity of equipment, knowing that they don't have a weight capacity, and having the personal trainers showing me how to use the equipment properly makes me feel confident that I can reach my fitness goals."
"I enjoy coming to swim for around 20 minutes in the evening to let go of some of the days stress. It's so different from competitive swimming and I am able to just stop when I feel like i'm done. There's no judgement either. Walk in and walk out a half hour later and no one judges that you're not there for two hours sweating it out. I have felt more confident from this type of environment and appreciate the values that the Y shares with my own."
"The Hamilton Central Y is a hidden gem! I advise anyone questioning to walk in or visit to DO it! I joined 3 years ago and it most definitely was the best decision I could have made. It’s clean & very well maintained. The community & atmosphere is unlike any other gym I have ever been to. Expect to be greeted by name as you walk in & a genuine care for your well being by all staff members! 10/10!"
"I absolutely love the Hamilton Central Y. Please stay the way you are. Among the many wonderful things here are the pool (smaller but heated more than the other Y’s lap pools), the whirlpool (strongest jets of any hot tub/jacuzzi and positioned at different levels to target different areas), the walking track and the fitness center. And the steam room is fantastic (pre-pandemic), closed now but hopefully open again soon post-pandemic. Also appreciate the towel service here. I try to get there every day, I live closer to another Y but choose to go to Central, the people here are exceptional as well. God Bless, looking forward to continued use of your facilities for a long time to come."
