"Went kayaking on the Great Miami and launched from here near the playground area. Pretty easy launch with the parking lot right nearby. The river was at 700 cfs so we were able to easily paddle upstream and drift back down."

"We had a very nice time. The trail is very easy to navigate. We took some of the smaller trails to get to the creek and was well worth it."

If you're looking for a peaceful and tranquil escape from the city life, the Rentschler Forest Metro Park is the perfect destination for you! This large park boasts over 1.9 miles of nature trails that are just waiting to be explored. When I visited the park today, I decided to take a stroll along the trails and was thoroughly impressed by what I saw. The park offers different trails for you to choose from, each with its own unique charm and breathtaking views. The trails are well-maintained and surrounded by lush greenery, and I found myself completely immersed in the beauty of nature. I was happy to see that even though there were a fair amount of people on the trail, it wasn't too crowded, so I was able to truly enjoy the peace and quiet. One of the highlights of my walk was when I came across a small bridge halfway through the trail. This bridge was not only unique but also thrilling as it was a bit shaky, making the experience all the more exciting. However, if you're prone to dizziness, be warned, as the bridge has a limit of 5 people and even with one person, it can shake quite a bit! Along the trail, you'll also come across a beautiful lake, which you can see from some parts of the trail. I took a walk along the lake bank, feeling the cool breeze on my face, and enjoyed the peaceful sound of the water. I'm not sure if fishing is allowed, but it's worth checking out if you're an avid fisherman. To ensure that your trek through the Rentschler Forest Metro Park is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, I'd recommend wearing hiking boots and bringing along some refreshments. Additionally, there are information boards located throughout the park that will give you more details on the different trails and the park itself. Overall, I had an amazing time exploring the Rentschler Forest Metro Park and I can't wait to go back and explore more of its trails."
