"All the tools are locked up now, so you have to find an associate for help. That is a daunting task. After you do, they understandably need to take it to a register, but I had additional shopping to do. I asked if she could take it to self-checkout and leave it. After trying unsuccessfully to get help cutting and measuring baseboard, I decided to leave with just the tool. The self-checkout associate did find it but she walked away with it to help other customers. When she finally returned I decided I no longer wanted to shop where buying an expensive tool is so difficult. I went across town and found help and what I needed at Lowes. What a terrible experience to see what you want, have money to buy it, but leave empty-handed."

"Your best bet is to find what you like in store, then buy it online somewhere else. They did away with veteran discounts and made it a lengthy process to apply for the discount online. Even then, the discount does not work and I had to go to the front desk. They refuse to use your veteran ID as proof. It's corporate greed at its finest, I highly doubt most veterans are able to go through that process, so they are saving themselves millions a year. The employees also have zero clue how to go through that and will tell you to just follow the QR code and figure it out."

"Every year I purchase a gift card at Christmas. I have always went to customer service to do so. Never had an issue until today. Waited in line over ten minutes because they only had two people in the Customer Service bay. Meanwhile I see about 5 other associates wandering around aimlessly not doing anything. When it’s finally my turn I asked the guy (Dom) for a gift card. He asked me if I had the card. ??? Confused I said um, no, that’s why I came here. They have always had gift cards at Customer Service. He told me I had to go get one from down where the registers are. So basically I had to lose my place in line, hike all the way down to the checkouts, back to Customer Service and back in (the now long) line again, because he said I couldn’t buy one at the checkout line. I left. What absolutely horrible customer service."

"They had better prices on appliances, so I bought a washer/dryer combo, stove and refrigerator. But then I got a call that the warranty was on sale at the time that I bought it and they didn't know it st the time. So I had to drive back to get the warranty. I guess they could have not called me at all, but I'm glad they did."
