"Update: Thank you management for your response. Unfortunately, I don’t see any of your contact information. I would rather not leave my email on this site. Is it possible for you to leave your email and I can contact you that way? This was THE WORST braiding experience I’ve ever had! I posted on FB Dayton/ Columbus braiding page looking for someone to braid my hair before Saturday. I originally had a braider but she failed to tell me she didn’t provide the hair. Well I get a few responses and one in particular from Ashira Denise who states she can help. I private messaged her and we talk off and on for about 2-3 hours going over specific details of what I was requesting. We finalized with my appt for 27 July at 3:00pm, sm/ med shoulder length, ombré knotless braids. I also inform her of my birth mark which is in the front middle of my head. I send her a picture and explained to her how the previous braiders part to the side and make the right side fuller …(this way it covers the spot. She says ok that’s fine. I confirm one more time that she will provide the hair. She says yes. I then Send her the $20 deposit. I’m relieved at this point because she checked all the boxes of sounding nice and asking all the right questions. The day of my appt 27 July at 1:28 Ashria messages me and ask if I can bring my hair because she doesn’t have that color at the shop. This is after we spoke about hair color and an hour and a half before my appt. I told her I wasn’t able to, due to my schedule prior to the appt. I told her we will just have to mix what she has or go with a #4. She only replies back to tell me she’s in the back room. I get there at 3, walk in to her room and greet her with hello and a smile. She says hi and tells me to have a seat and if I wanted my hair washed. I said no because I already washed it. From that point she doesn’t ask me any questions nor does she generally speak to me at all. We sat in silence the entire time. By the time she gets to the front I notice it feels the same as the other side as far as weight and it shouldn’t, considering I told her to make it fuller to the front right. I ask her if she covered the spot and she replies “I mean yeah it’s covered.” After, feeling the bald spot again I asked “are you sure? because it still feels exposed.” I then get up to check my self and it is NOT covered. I ask her why she didn’t make it full. Her response is “oh I thought you just meant you wear your part on that side.” I said “if you weren’t clear on what I was asking for I wish you would’ve asked sooner.” So at this point I’m disappointed because not only did she not do what she said she could do, but her attitude is just as bad as my hair. She finishes the last few braids, puts setting lotion in and starts to blow dry. I don’t see any hot water boiling. I ask are you going to dip my hair? She rudely says “I’m gonna dip it.” Then she tells me she can cut my braids out and I can just leave because I’m questioning her. I explain to her that she messed up the front of my hair so at this point I don’t trust her next moves. She then dips my hair and out of her anger chops the ends and ask if I want to look at it. I already know she ruined my hair so of course I don’t want to look. I paid and left. If I could give zero stars I would but I had to give one to make this post."
