"I would not recommend the Fremont recreation complex for any person of color. We were here for a tournament on March 25th and March 26th. Throughout the tournament, the LTB team was fouled multiple times with no calls from the referees, other kids on other teams were traveling and it was not called. In addition, a technical foul was called and a black coach was kicked out due to him voicing his concerns about his team being tripped, elbowed, and tackled with no calls from the referees. To add, four Fremont police squad cars were called the next day and standing behind the LTB bench as if they had intentions to cause the LTB team to be disqualified from the tournament. The tournament is fixed and the people that run the tournament are prejudice. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This is not how you treat people. They kicked the entire LTB team, the coach, and the parents out for no reason. The LTB players left crying not because they lost but because they were fouled so bad and they could not understand because that is not basketball. You should be ashamed Fremont Community Recreation complex!"

"The recreation center in town is great for everyone. Prices are fair for yearly membership, and they offer seasonal passes as well. The pass for daily is higher, especially for the ice rink. For skates and to get in, it's 7.00 each. That adds up quickly with a family. My son's love going in the winter to skate. It seems like the hours of skating are shorter than in the past. I wasn't able to get them memberships this year because of the higher cost of everything, and I'm really disappointed that it costs so much just to get in. I told my kids that they can only go once during the weekend instead of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. My family is considered middle class, we're at the/ you make too much to qualify for any services but you don't have enough money to pay for anything extra. Maybe the rec could have a middle tier or something for other families like mine."
