Kroger Marketplace

"Used to really enjoy this store, but the last few times I've been in the store, the service has been horrendous. There are never any carts and baskets in the store. A few times, I've actually had to reduce what I was going to buy because I could only carry so many things. Today, one lane was open and everyone else had to go through the U-scan. The clerk spent all her time helping one customer who had 20+ items scan his whole cart. While she did that, three other customers waited for "help." Finally, another clerk came over, didn't look at me or ask for ID, but pressed a button. He ignores the 3rd person and leaves. When the original clerk came over to our side, she swiped a plastic tub of yogurt so hard that it cracked, spilling yogurt all over my groceries. There was no apology. The customer service people were 10 feet away, watching and did nothing."

"Great selection of almost any fresh food items you could possibly want. This place is huge. But that's also a problem. Navigating the parking lot, both incoming and leaving is a chore. Otherwise, decent shopping experience."

"This is an above-average Kroger location. The “Marketplace” designation seems to signal more choice and more upscale options. There are still plenty of items on sale, and all of the regular stuff offerings that you would expect. Has fresh sushi, with deals every Wednesday. Also has a Starbucks, fresh flowers and a great wine and beer selection. Parking is easy and plentiful. There is a fuel center on site. I only wish this store was closer to my goiter."

"I have been in the customer service line about 25 minutes. The guy at the counter is doing his best trying to help everyone. To the management: this is not acceptable. You have removed most of the cashiers and installed self checkout. This reduces labor cost, so it would be reasonable to think things like customer service that can not be automated yet would be sufficiently staffed. Please do better your employees and customers would appreciate it. Edit: fixed typo"
