The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, leading to slow service and some confusion with our orders. It detracted from the overall dining experience. The pub itself could use a bit of sprucing up; it felt a tad dated and in need of some maintenance. With a bit of attention to detail, it could enhance the overall appeal. While The Old Bag of Nails Pub has its charms, there is room for improvement, especially in terms of service and ambiance. It's a decent spot for a casual meal, but I hope to see some positive changes on my next visit."

"Jon was fast and attentive food was excellent. But is was super awkward sitting at the bar and a child was sitting next to me.... I'm a bartender and I feel like this illegal. Made me and my friends get up and leave. You lost at least a hundred dollar tab...."
"I gave only 4 stars on the food due to consistency.. most of the time everything is great. Entrees are typically well prepared but some of the sides are a hard pass. I'm looking at you coleslaw. The Reuben never disappoints. Service is always great. A couple years ago, they reduced the menu, removing the ny strip. I understand at the time, supply was rough, but I think it's time to bring back something representing the steak category."
"Waitress was excellent! My salad was huge. I actually took most of it home and had a second meal. The grilled chicken was actually warm and the blue cheese crumbles are the best I have ever had. Not too strong."
