Ross Dress for Less

"Whoever the woman is that's working the register right now really needs to learn how to talk to and treat her customer. I simply asked for a bigger bag for my mom because she bought me some stuff. She proceeds to tell me that I need for more items to get a big bag. She rang my mom's stuff up and I proceeded to tell her what all I needed to go in the bigger bag so my mom would have the smaller bag since she only had 3 items and I had 3 pairs of pants, 6 pk of socks, shirt and 4 other items and she instantly got an attitude! I told her never mind I would do it myself. She is wearing a black and white stripped sweater with jeans and her hair is in a ponytail! I don't go here often and that made me never want to go back to that location! It's free to be nice!"

"Ross stores are infrequent in the northeast ohio area; from the North Akron area, it is a minimum 30-minute drive to either of the next two closest stores. That being said, Ross is worth checking out, and this one in Beachwood is worth setting aside the time to explore. I don't always find stuff that I personally want to own, but I consistently see Pretty Good to Excellent discounts on things you just don't see everywhere, and certainly not as inexpensive. I like this particular store because it's 99% organized, clean, and has a good ever-changing variety of things from well-established brands. The one closest to me does as well, but much less frequently has anything in my size or style. Also, Ross in general features in my life as a place you can get great deals, sometimes more often, on certain things but not others, in the vein of TJ Maxx, Marshall's, and Burlington. However, this particular store tends to lag on attentive customer service, except in the checkout line, which to my experience has never ever been long, regardless of the size of the line. Overall, well worth the trip, and I have never found any reason to make a return or complain."

"I LOVE Ross! It would be a 5 if customer service was better! Not much help when you need it! They could also have a more variety of things! It's like if you live something get it because it's probably only 1 in your size! It's the only location I've been to and would love to visit other's. The pricing is great! They have the best handbags ever! The cashier's for the most part are polite."

"Dec 2022: Don't know why this Ross has such great reviews. Terrible shoes & dresses selection, basically no glassware. Overall clothes selection was meh, though they had a ton of coats. It was good on dog toys and cookware but otherwise a waste of a trip."

"So far so good! Parking was a little scarce because of the grand opening. Be prepared to park further from the door. Many employees available to help. The store was nicely stocked in all areas and great prices as you would expect from this chain and similar discount stores. Everything was neat and organized despite the heavy foot traffic. Many people coming out with purchases so you may find something you want or need. One last thing to note, the line to checkout will be long but they have all cashiers, at all registers ringing so the line moved considerably fast. Happy shopping! #TiaTriedIt"
