L'Albatros

"This place is very quaint, quiet, romantic, and pretty. The food was absolutely delicious too! The prices are surprisingly affordable for delicious French food. We'll definitely be back. *2 things we personally didn't care for: 1- Finding the restaurant was kind of hard at night. It's nestled back behind the parking lot, and the sign is hard to see. 2- Our server had an attitude and didn't pack the remaining leftovers we planned on taking home. He did one but forgot to do the other. we felt we were very nice to him, So hopefully, the server was just having an off night and isn't like this to his customers nightly. Other than those 2 things, I'd definitely recommend this cute spot."

"Excellent experience from start to finish. Began with the terrine and great mixed drinks - Last Day on Earth and Indigo. Terrine was fantastic and a step away from what we'd usually start with, but an excellent departure from the norm. For mains I chose the pork chop special and my wife had the chicken breast. Both were superb, and it's surprising how something simple like chicken breast could be that delicious. Finished with pistachio cake for dessert. Meals were not measley in portion or pompous in presentation. Service was on point to an almost disconcerting level. My water glass was topped off before I even had a drink, and everyone was friendly throughout."

"This was our first time going to L'Albatros and had some mixed feelings. Very easy to make a reservation online, but didn't get seated until 10-15 minutes after our reservation. To be fair the place was packed, and our seats were very close to other guests, they really were maximizing the space where we were in arms length distance of multiple tables. The service overall was good and responsive. The smoked salmon appetizer was good, the braised lamb my wife got was underwhelming and the dish was too moist overall. The duck confit that I got was better, duck was cooked well but a little salty, but the sweet potato puree it came with was amazing, I kept wishing I had more. It could be that maybe we're not French food people though. Overall the plate portions were quite large for a nicer restaurant and the meal prices were fair. Like I said, overall mixed feelings, but definitely leaning more towards good than bad"

"Quaint place. Staff was very friendly, informative, and attentive. We ordered the choose 7 cheeses plate, they gave a detailed explanation of each cheese and let us choose. I ordered the braised lamb shoulder, very flavorful. The root vegetables were a great pairing. My friend ordered the duck confit, the flavors were amazing and the meat was very tender. The sweet potato mash was equally amazing."
