"Stopped in today to pick up some shoes and be fitted to be sure the type of shoe that I have been wearing in the past is correct. Met with the associate Karen who from start to finish was very kind and gave me advice on my walk as well as fitted my feet to the appropriate size shoe I needed. She started with three different brands of shoes. We began with a pair of Brooks, then moved on to a pair of New Balance, then ultimately tried some Hoka's. Ultimately I ended up choosing the first pair of Brooks as I found them to be the most supportive for a bit of pronation and the additional support they offered. Anyway, just a shout out to Karen for being kind and patient and listening. That is why I went to this store versus a big box shoe store. If you're looking for someone who will take the time to listen and fit you for the type of shoe you desire, then I would stop here and give them a try before going elsewhere.
