"I was very excited to come here. The front staff was friendly but not informative. I asked about a couple things on the menu and she reread back to me what it says on the menu board. I ordered the gyro with fries. There was meat in the pita with sauce. That’s it. There was no lettuce, tomato, cucumber (or whatever else is supposed to be on it) on it. It was good, just wish it had the toppings on it or an explanation if they were out of the ingredients. I will try again. I will check my order before I leave though."

"Athena’s is a straightforward gyro shop, gyros are on point. Wife and I have visited here 3 times (me, 4). When they are not busy your ordered is presented to you fairly quick. Place a mobile order if you just wanna walk in and grab it. Chicken is just the right size for a regular gyro. Fries are seasoned, perfectly, in my opinion. Seating is adequate as long as it’s not bustling on the inside. Good place to eat, I see more gyros in my future"

"We recently moved to the area from Detroit, where there’s good Greek food everywhere. The chicken gyro I had stacks right up with any of the best. Fries were crispy and well seasoned. Friendly staff as well. We are so happy to have something like this in the neighborhood."

"No frills Gyro shop. Went for hummus and chicken Shwarma and they were sold out of both so I landed on classic gyro and fries. Those were 5/5 classic taste with fresh toppings. Fries were really good. They only have bottled drinks, water, snapple and craft sodas. I will be ordering out again and again from this place. Check them out!"

"I’ve been looking forward to Athena’s Gyro House opening. Southern Grove City desperately needed some variety, so they’ve been very busy since they’ve opened, but I finally got to grab it for lunch today with the family. The food was excellent—the gyros were generous and fresh right off the spit, the salad was fresh, and even the kids meal I got my son was fresh and delicious (I couldn’t resist trying a bite). The staff was very friendly and accommodating despite how busy the restaurant was. So glad to have some variety come to grove city of this caliber!"
