"Pricilla has cared for our pups for years and is the one groomer that my babies and I trust the most. You can immediately tell that she LOVES the fur babies and treats them all like her own."

"Oh my gosh! I stumbled across this adorable groomer during an afternoon walk with my dog. I am so glad I did. She is a dog whisperer! My dog literally loves her and she usually hates groomers. The owner is so sweet and you can tell that she really cares about her customers. Love this shop!!!"

"Did a great job trimming our black lab/retriever’s claws. He does not cooperate at all in this process, and fought us relentlessly when we tried at home. Other places gave up getting him properly trimmed, but Bark Avenue was patient and slowly got all his front claws cut. They also blew out all his dead fur, so he feels much better! Will definitely bring him back next time he’s due for grooming :)"

"We took our 7 month old Samoyed (double coat, very very fluffy), Baloo, here as we needed an emergency (ie, muddy play date) grooming and washing, and unfortunately our schedules prohibited us from doing it as we normally would. Additionally, I always want to support local business! I'm a very cautious person and was leary about taking Baloo somewhere with little reviews, but I believe that overall, Bark Ave did a great job. Pros: Fantastic job brushing Baloo out. Seriously, the dog has never been so well brushed out *all* over, and we brush him every other day. He was very clean and his nails were trimmed. His paw pad fur was trimmed, too, although perhaps a little higher up his paw than we would have liked (ideally I just wanted the pad itself trimmed, not the hair around his whole paw). He also had an amazing time playing with the owner's dogs who were all very friendly. It's clear the love and care that each and every dog receives. Cons: The shampoo and/or conditioner used on him was *very* heavily scented. I'm not sure what the scent was, but it reminded me and my fiancée of cheap female perfume. It didn't smell bad, but it was just far too much for my taste and would have preferred something neutral and/or natural (eg, lavender or vanilla). Additionally, his coat felt almost oily at first, but we quickly realized that this was because he wasn't completely dry. I'm not sure if such a new saloon doesn't have a high speed, professional blower (they're not cheap!) to tackle the job on a double coat like ours, but we had to dry him a little more when we got him home. Lastly, his collar was soaking wet which I assume was from using it to keep him in place while bathing. I assume most other places have their own tethers to prevent this. All in all, the endeavor took about 6.5 hours and cost us about $88. At the time, they did not have credit card access set up yet, so we had to run to an ATM to get cash."
