"I would like to start by pointing out the fact that my provider, Caitlin Jones, has been amazing. I would enjoy working with her again if she was at a practice that put people first. Beyond her, this office is in absolute shambles. The communication is sub-par. After each one of my appointments, I was supposed to go pick up my medication. I went to Hope419 since the end of summer 2023, and at least 80% of the time I went to pick up a prescription there was a problem on Hope419's end. On top of that, whenever I would call in to check with the office, I would be met with snarky remarks and talked to as if I was stupid over issues that were out of my control. The icing on the cake was today. For my last virtual appointment, I was less than 30 minutes late. I had written down 3:30 when the appointment was at 3:00. The appointments are quick check-ins to make sure the medication is going ok and to get a new prescription. 10 minutes max for just the prescriptions. I was told that I was too late to attend the appointment and that I would be charged a 50$ late fee. I received the email today confirming the above charge. I had checked in to see if they would waive the fee due to the constant tardiness by their office workers when checking in. They admitted they had on file that I had multiple appointments they were late to, but only one was over 15 minutes, so they were going to charge me for being 20 minutes late to an appointment I had genuinely written the wrong time down for. This office is a few steps away from being a great place, but outside of dealing with Caitlin Jones directly, it has been a nightmare in my short time attending sessions there. If you are suffering from any sort of mental illness and are looking for help, I can tell you from my experience that the lack of communication and customer service at Hope419 will only increase your anxiety and make your entire experience with mental health worse. Find somewhere that will treat you as a human and meet you where you are. Hope419 has made me feel like less of a person and made my mental health worse. It's hard to take charge of your own mental health when the people who are supposed to be helping you make it even more of an uphill battle."
