"The pediatricians are all fantastic but the front office staff is completely inept. They move appointments without notifying you and you don’t find out until you’ve shown up for your rescheduled appointment. This is the THIRD time this has happened to us. They need to realize that people have jobs and lives and cannot simply move their schedule to another day."

"The workers there are absolutely disgusting people they are supposed to be “professionals” and all this good stuff but they leave toilet paper all over the staff bathrooms they leave poop stains and urine stains all over the toilets spit on the mirrors again very disgusting people they absolutely refuse to clean up after themselves"

"A $20 co pay turned into a charge exceeding $400 after Akron Children’s scheduled our child with a doctor out of network. We were never notified and the matter has not been resolved. Update: I was informed by billing that the case was being reviewed. I then received a call back from billing to tell me the doctor was in network, but I owe another $74.00! This is absolutely ridiculous. Very poor customer service. There is no reason a $20.00 wellness visit needed to turn into a $500 visit! I would NEVER recommend services here to anyone!"

"I've never in my life been so appalled by the conduct of a medical professional/office. They know that they serve patients who wait for months to be seen for serious issues, often driving hours out of their way. Today I drove four hours round-trip for an appointment that we scheduled back in September. On the way I had an issue with my van door and had to stop to fix it. As a result, I walked in two minutes after my "wait window". I was promptly told that my son would not be seen by the gastroenterologist, who had "closed his chart" the moment the window closed. I explained that he has been in pain, that we've waited months for this appointment, that I drove hours and missed an entire day of work for this. I was robotically told over and over again that it was their policy and they were so sorry but there was nothing they could do. This is truly the most illogical and disrespectful policy I've ever experienced. I'm sure that they would have no problem keeping their patients waiting for much longer than that! It's clear to me that they do not respect their patients -- if they did, they wouldn't have such a draconian policy. My son has now dealt with this discomfort for months on end, I missed a day of work, spent a ton of money on gas, and drove four hours with a screaming baby ....for nothing. Because of two minutes. To say I'm disgusted with the conduct of Dr. Michael in particular, and the whole office, is an understatement. I am grateful for the single woman in the office who made an effort to find a closer appointment for us next week. I hope to never have to walk into the Wooster office of Akron Children's again. Inexcusable."

"I've been bringing my son here for the last 4 years and just had my first couple appointments with my newest. First thing I will say is that I love the dedication that is put into the visits every single time. The doctors I have encountered have always been considerate and give great feedback concerning my children and their route of care. The nurses have all been very patient and more than willing to go out of their way to make a scary appointment seem like a piece of cake for the kids. I don't think I could ever take my children to another office because of the great place the staff here have created for both of my children here."
