"Stayed at many Hamptons, this has been worst by far. I first walk in to the hotel seeing another guest (family with kids) with all their sheets in the hands telling front desk their sheets were dirty & bloody. Arguing with attendant who didn't want to give them new sheets bc he didn't know where to find any. I checked in online but asked for a physical key,  The front desk insisted I didn't have a reservation despite me showing them my electronic key card with room number.  Took forever for it to dawn on the attendant. Finally got to room and guess what, blood on sheets. See pic. We brought blankets so took off bloody sheets and used our own. We arrived late due to snow storm. Went to pool with my kids, which was supposed to be open until 11pm but staff came in at 10 and said pool was closed, they said we should disregard the sign that stated pool hours are until 11pm. Our room would only run AC and it was in 20s outside.  One of the other groups we were with said the trick was to turn the temp over 76 to get heat. But even then the AC would run intermittently. Our shower head was broken, it was stuck between two settings. No hot water, warm at best. Breakfast was out of most food & drink on both days. No coffee, no eggs, no pastries, no yogurt. No luck. Go elsewhere if staying in Blue Ash. Lots of better alternatives in area."

"I have stayed at Hampton Inns many times, and often seek them out. For this stay In Cincinnati, Blue Ash, the check in was fine and the hotel property seemed fine at first. When we came back to the room that night, there was no remote for the TV in the room. Reluctantly, the Front desk provided me with a random remote. It did not operate the TV in my room. I went back to front desk and his only suggestion was to make sure the light on the TV was on indicating that it had power. It did, so I gave up because I could see I was getting nowhere. Also, the diverter on the shower did not send all the water to the shower head so ol most no water pressure for shower. This was far below my expectations."

"So my wife and I decided to book this hotel for 2 nights, as we were visiting Kings Island for winterfest for a couple days. I had read reviews prior to booking, but there were more good than bad , so I booked it. Upon check-in, I immediately noticed the front desk was really dirty. Like, it appeared as if someone had spilled a little bit of coffee and it was never cleaned up. And yes, there were weird odors in the lobby and in the halls to our room. We stayed on second floor, and the carpeting in the hallway had dirty footprints on them, which were never cleaned up for some reason. It looked really bad. And it was nice carpeting. Just with dirty foot prints on it. Our room was pleasantly a surprise. It was clean, for the most part. It was very roomy , and even had a mini sofa in there, but the sofa pillow needed to be replaced or dry cleaned. It was dirty and worn. Now on to the odors that a lot of people reviewed about. Yes, our room had a strange odor coming from the heating/cooling unit once we turned it on for the heat. It smelled as if something sweet was burning. It was definitely a turn off. Now onto our first (and only) morning on the property. We were really looking forward to breakfast, and we made our way downstairs promptly at 6am, as that was the time we were told that breakfast started. Well, it didn’t start at 6am. It was more closer to 7am. The front desk manager came out and said his breakfast guy called off or that they were short staffed. Something like that. And the food was bad. They didn’t have regular syrup for the waffles. Just sugar free. Which is ok, but let me tell you, that sugar free syrup was nasty!!!! So, after all this, my wife and I decided to cut our stay short and try to book another property. We had booked through a 3rd party site, and we couldn’t get them to cancel our second night reservation. So I talked to the front desk attendant , and after some going back and forth and me asking to speak to hotel manager about it, we finally got a call at 10am saying we were able to cancel our second night reservation. So, all in all, the hotel management did work with us and we were happy about that, but it was all the little things that kept adding up that made our stay less than desirable."

"Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. Room was large and clean with walk-in shower, microwave and fridge ,sofa and desk. Full size toiletries were attached to the wall in pumps rather than the small size which was actually much better! Only thing we did not like was the bed was hard and lumpy (time to replace?) and we were not able to get extra pillows due to guest with broken leg who took them all."

"Overall the establishment was decent for the price. Our stay was three days which during that time we received no fresh towels or linen. The hotel was quiet for the most part. My biggest issue with this establishment was the smell from the carpet located throughout the hallways. When approaching the front desk don't be surprised if not to receive a simple hello. If you're on a budget or just need a 1 night stay I would recommend other than that make another selection."
