Lakeview Resorts GOTL

"I stayed at Lakeview resorts at the Sandy. I was told to arrive at two, the lady called me the day before asking me to meet her there then. Waited 20 minutes with no one in the office. Someone finally arrived and laughed saying they went out to eat. No respect or care at all. I could not believe how bad this cottage was. Very dirty, I had to go buy disinfectant to clean. The table had a sticky substance all over it and the place smelled like urine. Bedding smelled like smoke, I had to go to the laundry mat to wash the bedding. Huge hole in porch I’m glad my dog didn’t step in it and break a leg after paying $50 pet fee. An old dirty office chair on the front porch and the neighbors had very nice chairs. Not sure why I got stuck in a shack like cottage. Tv did not work. Called five times with no response. No one in office. Wi-Fi barely worked. I felt so unsanitary staying here. I cannot believe they rent this place. They also advertise free breakfast which I never received (I wouldn’t eat anything from this place anyways) I will NEVER be back. It’s not safe. Description not as advertised, I feel that I was scammed. Unfortunately I was in town for a family get together and already paid $400+ for this rental so I stayed."

"We arrived after the Memorial Day rush and was so lucky to find the Driftwood Cottage available for the night. Kaitlyn and Melissa were amazing. They showed the cottage to us, cleaned it and had it ready for us in no time. The cottage is sooooo nice. The view from the bedroom was beautiful. And well, the deck ... it was PERFECT! Sitting and relaxing on the deck for hours, watching the sun set (and then rise the next morning) was exactly how we needed to end our trip. We would definitely recommend Lakeview Resorts GOTL and would stay in Driftwood Cottage again without a doubt. Thanks for an amazing night on the lake!!!"

"Just stayed at the Stoney Cottage, part of Lakeview Resorts. It is tiny but it was perfect for the two of us for the weekend. It's nothing fancy but all we needed a bed to crash on and a bathroom! Right on the water with access. You can hear the water from the bedroom. Cute little front porch that you can see the lake from. Located on strip, but towards the end so it's close enough to walk every where but far enough away that it's quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the night life. Would've been 5 stars but our bedroom window didn't have any blinds, so we just hung a blanket up for more privacy. No towels or hand towels provided, so bring those! No paper products provided other than toilet paper, so if you need paper plates or napkins, bring those as well! There were actual dishes, but we didn't want to mess with having to wash anything! Management was great and super friendly. There weren't many photos on website, so hope these help! We look forward to returning!"

"Lakeview Resorts is top notch friendly! I worked with Brandi and she was the sweetest person. She got me in on a cancelation and communicated with me wonderfully. We had stayed here many years ago and so glad we checked this place out again. All of the cottages have cute little porches that are roomy enough for 4 ppl. We will definitely be staying here again!"

"We stayed here weekend of 08/15-17/2020 This place was filthy. When entering the smell was awful, can not even explain it. Was not advertised on Airbnb that they did no supply towels. Left over toothpaste spit in sink from guest before. Never once seen cleaning crew bring in new sheets or comforters or take any out. Wifi did not work, text 2 different numbers for no response. After stating to owner in review to airbnb our experience they did not even respond. I would think with covid going on, they would take extra measures to ensure their place is clean. NOT the case. I would never stay here again or recommend to anyone. It was completely disgusting. Not to mention AC is advertised, 1 tiny unit in kitchen. Bedroom is about 90 degrees at all times..... Save your money!!! Completely disgusting and disappointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
