"We stayed here for my fiancés birthday as a surprise getaway at the pilothouse. Let me tell you, the room is beautiful. It had everything we needed; I loved the big jetted tub and the view was gorgeous. I also liked that we could check ourselves in and parking was simple. Everything was perfect, clean and peaceful 10/10"
"I booked a room for our 16th wedding anniversary. The front desk customer service was amazing! I paid extra for the "Romantic getaway ". For the price I paid for the room and upgrade I was extremely disappointed. The "homemade" cake was store bought. The wine glasses that were suppose to have the logo of the reason we were there on them... were plain. The room (#4) was very underwhelming. It was big enough for the bed, a chair and small table. No room to put things anywhere. Also the thermostat was on a locked position. The room was very warm. The price that we paid we could of booked a suite at a franchise hotel."
"Stayed in one of the cottages for a girls getaway. Cottage was very clean and the beds were super comfortable with lots of pillows. Complimentary delicious breakfast delivered in a picnic basket to your room each morning. Beautiful view of Lake Erie from the inn and multi-tiered patio areas. Staff were friendly and responsive. On site restaurant serving house made wines and locally sourced ingredients is pricey but worth it."
"This was our first trip and certainly won't be our last! From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and special. The staff is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. The room and house are immaculately clean. We spent a day at the spa which was a relaxing treat, and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Crosswinds. Their mission to support as many local vendors as possible is something that resonates well with us and makes the atmosphere even more special. The snow enhanced the winter views of the lake and made it serene and cozy. They have this down to a science here and it still feels exceptionally personal to each guest."
