"This was the first time that I had been to Alesci's and it was the best shopping experience I'd had in years. I think every single person that was working that day asked me if there was anything they could do for me, and I actually appreciated how genuine it felt from every person. They offered solid advice when I mentioned that my wife and I made pizzas often and not only directed me to their products but also how to best cook them, with specific instructions (that proved extremely helpful the next day!). I also need to mention that I only went here because my wife had wanted cannolis for Valentine's Day and when I called to ask if they had any left 30 minutes before they closed for the day, they told me they didn't have any but they could make me some. I asked if that was alright since they were about to close and I was only 7 minutes away. They said it was no problem and had them ready when I arrived. Needless to say, I will be a a permanent customer here. Excellent goods, excellent staff, what appears to be a delicious deli for lunch, I'll be a frequent customer from now on. Keep up the good work!!!"

"My husband picked up cannolis for me yesterday for Valentine's Day. They were seriously the best I've ever had & I'm pretty darn picky when it comes to cannolis! He also picked up some pizza dough & sauce, which we will be making tonight (can't wait!!) We will definitely be back, many many times! My only regret is not realizing this cute Italian shop has been here sooner!! Update: the pizza turned out great! The dough was so light & airy. The sauce had great flavor. We have made our own pizzas from store bought thin crust, but haven't experimented with dough before tonight. We will be back for more cannolis & pizza dough...& even more goodies!!"

"Love their selection. Their people are just as beautiful, handsome and awesome, very helpful and welcoming. Fresh dough premade pizzas or toppings a great deal and time saver for making pizza and pepperoni rolls. Olive sampler and pastries for the win. Love stopping here when on the East side."

"I had a nice experience at Jim Alesci's. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I was a little disappointed in the small amount of olive oil. I was looking for a flavored olive oil and they didn't have it. The selection was less than I anticipated. Otherwise I enjoyed going there. No problem with securing my other items. I will return and always be a customer."

"They have quite a few food options here. Pretty much all Italian and subs. There was some quiche to. The reason they lost 2 stars because the staff was not friendly at all. The woman who served food, chicken fillets and sausage, etc. was completely unfriendly and abrupt. it definitely made me not want to come back even if they had amazing food. She didn't explain to me how the charge was by the way because I ordered pork sausage, and I would like to have a few more peppers on it then 2. I was buying for a group of people so I asked the cashier if they had plates and I got the abrupt answer of yes, but you have to pay for them so this isn't a good place to come if you are buying for large groups of people because like most places, give you silverware and plates. You have to pay for your plates. Parking is easy. Prices for the bakery stuff is very expensive. A small piece of tiramisu or lemon cake was over five dollars a piece."
