"I had home insurance with hancock with mechanical breakdown coverage for furnace and air conditioner. I submitted a claim for my air conditioner only to find out I was not covered . Hancocks did not seem to know why. They should have been able to tell me right away if I was covered or not. by the way the insurance company was PEKIN. I was given the run around for 4 weeks before I finally found out PEKIN was not going to honor my policy that I had after paying for the year . The insurance company had updated there policy excluding the coverage I had. Hancocks failed to notify me about the changes. In other words they are selling policies that you cant use. What a SCAM after already having my money that I paid for a years coverage. I Immediately canceled my insurance policy's with them car, home, and business. Beware if you are taking out insurance with this company. You are paying for coverage that you are not going to be able to clam if something happens."
