"This place has been outstanding on helping with counseling and just general support. The VA system can be hard to navigate and that can point you in the right direction. The group meetings are also very helpful. It's nice to be able to talk to a group of vets that understand you, because most civilians will never understand."

"I have used them for marriage counseling and counseling for my son. Overall a great experience, the counseling is in depth and they show they care."

"I was referred here for mental health through a fellow veteran. Was assigned to Dr. Wier. She quit scheduling appointments after just a few sessions with the last session trying to tell me that I had some privelage (after being homeless for 3 years) and also stated "I don't know what you want from me Anthony". Being that she was a Dr, I was looking for help. I'm diagnosed by the VA 100% complete and total for PTSD . I've had successes with vet centers in West Virginia and Colorado....just not this one. Doctors shouldn't ask patients "what do you want from me".... If I knew what I needed I wouldn't have asked to see someone."

"If you are a veteran or a family member and need to talk to someone without the normal BS of the VA, this is the place. Gera and Mary are two extremely helpful, listening people. Unlike the VA where you constantly get run around and avoided, the Vet Center is relaxed and they actually seem like they want to help. Family members affected by your military service also can use the service and it's massively helpful."
