For cat owners bringing in a trapped cat, please call or email us to schedule an appointment. Prior to surgery, cats should not eat anything after midnight the night before their appointment. Upon arrival at the clinic, please ensure your cat is in a secure carrier and complete any necessary paperwork.
Dog owners should also refrain from feeding their pets after midnight before surgery. Allow 40 minutes for the admission process, and be sure to give your dog a chance to potty before entering the clinic. Complete any required paperwork and wait for staff instructions before bringing your dog in for admission.
In addition to our spay/neuter services, we also offer low-cost dental cleanings for dogs and cats. To schedule a dental appointment, please call 234-804-3064. Please note that requests for dental work require proof of spay/neuter surgery.
At AlterClinic, we also provide services for community cats, including spaying and neutering to help control the population. Reservations for trapped cats can be made by calling us at 234-804-3064 or emailing altercareac@gmail.com. "Highly recommend this veterinarian practice. Very organized. On time scheduling. Caring individuals. Best care. My 2 Maltese puppies were spayed at 6 mo. Discharge instructions very clear. This practice is a non-profit 501c3 group thus the costs are much less than a regular veterinary practice. I Support this organization and trust the care of my dogs to them completely. "I paid almost $700.00 to get our first cat spayed at our regular vet’s office, then an additional $746.00 when the incision became infected and she needed surgery. We recently took in a new stray and I heard of AlterClinic through the Humane Society. Less than $70.00 and our new girl got spayed and back home without issue.
