"Never again. Marotta's was my favorite pizza in the Heights, but after today, they won't get another dime from me. And won't get a recommendation either. Ordered my pie ahead for pickup. Got to the restaurant and the 3 guys behind the counter all saw me in this very tiny establishment. Mind you, I'm 6'4 and a very large black guy, so Im basically blocking the front door. In the past I have gotten my pies from any of the guys behind the counter. But no one acknowledged that I was standing there. There was a waiter with the handlebar mustache, whom I also caught eyes with, he went on about his business of serving tables. After some minutes, an older group of white people came and and the waiter promptly came up to them to seat them. Mind you, he didn't know if I wanted a seat or not, he just went straight to them and got them seated. He then cam back to me and asked if I needed help..lol...I stated my displeasure at the fact that he so promptly served them and that I was there before them. I told him I had a pickup. He handed me my pie and said have a good day..wow. To make matters worse, my 30 buck pizza was welded to the cardboard box and the wax paper had melted to the pie, to the point where we had to eat around it. I will never ever patron this restaurant again. Very disappointed and upset."

"Best pizza in the city. Fresh ingredients and the staff is friendly. These pizzas have come in clutch time and time again for browns Sundays with the bros. I love this place so much and hope they get a ton of business. The vegetarian pizzas are amazing I pinky promise."

"We had the worst experience at this restaurant last night. The customer service was horrible. We learned about this restaurant on Instagram and thought it would be a great place to have dinner. Upon arrival we wasn't greeted. We waited 15 minutes for water, wine, and coffee. After 35 minutes we had to tell the server we was ready to order. The server never brought us bread until we had out main course meal. The server never asked if we wanted cheese on any of our food. We were expecting a better experience."
