"I rented from Smucker for 3 years. The owner of the company and I decided not to replace the carpets prior to me moving in (even though they should have been replaced) due to the fact that I had two large dogs and a small child. Fast forward 3 years to me moving out and they’re nickel and diming me out of my security deposit for “odor elimination” for what I presume are of the carpets, which remind you needed replaced prior to me even moving in, and “having to wash the walls” prior to repainting them for the new tenants.....what a joke. Don’t even get me started trying to get the leak in my roof fixed that had a bucket sitting under it every time it rained for the last 3 years. This company has more money than they know what to do with and it’s pretty clear why. They have a complete monopoly over the town of plain city and there are no other rental options available out here."

"Not to go on a complete rant here, but if you have something that needs to be fixed don’t expect it to get done in a timely fashion. If you rent from Smucker for more than a year or two they will full advantage of your security deposit. They will give over exaggerated reason why they had to deduct an overly large amount of money for a simple fix"
