"The worst chinese food I ever had in my life. The Lo Mein is gummy, Bourbon chicken is very tiny portion, they put too much broccoli, the mongolian beef no flavor. The worst is hot and sour soup, it's not soup, it's porridge!!!!! IF YOU CAN'T COOK, DON'T SELL YOUR FOOD!!!"

"I have been a patron of Hunan Coventry since my relocation to Cleveland Heights approximately a year ago. The culinary experience has consistently been exceptional, offering truly authentic Chinese cuisine that surpasses any other Chinese restaurant in northeast Ohio. The staff is unfailingly welcoming, with a special shoutout to James who exemplifies exceptional service. During my recent visit, an unfortunate incident occurred when a table left without paying their bill. However, James handled the situation admirably. My personal favorites on the menu are the chicken lo mein and pork pot stickers, both of which never disappoint. Additionally, the restaurant boasts a commendable wine selection. The pricing is reasonable, making it an attractive option for both take-out and dine-in. Take-out orders are efficiently processed, typically ready within 15-20 minutes. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Hunan Coventry with a perfect 10/10 rating. For those in Cleveland Heights, there's no need to explore other Chinese restaurants – Hunan Coventry has your culinary needs covered."

"While the food looked and smelled good, it severely lacked flavor and no amount of salt could save it. We ordered the Curry Chicken and the General Tso's chicken, both were bland and had an awful chewy texture indicating that they were overcooked. The rice was undercooked and had crunchy clumps. The only edible part of our meal was the crab rangoon, which was slightly sweet. Although we ordered takeout, it was clear that the dining area was outdated and dingy. Suffice to say, the food here is not worth the price and there are better restaurants within a walking distance from this place."

"VERY low quality Chinese food in both presentation and taste. I just picked it up and the Beef Broccoli looked and tasted like it was a leftover and was made 3 days ago. I'm very serious- I've posted a picture of this Beef Broccoli below after I got home--and you know how leftovers look- the sauce thickens up and the vegetables lose their firmness and turns soggy (Yep, it wasn't made fresh). Their brown sauce was very gelatinous and very, very BLAND. My family and I are so disappointed with the taste of their Hunan Chicken, Beef Broccoli, and Lo mein. They were all a waste of money--$55! Poorly tasting Chinese food and I don't recommend because their food extremely lacks flavor. Not coming back."

"A solid, quick, affordable Chinese restaurant! Particularly liked the scallion pancakes and I always love a lo mein noodle, so overall quite happy!"
