"DO NOT GO!!!! Read below!!: Me and my husband are both doctors. I function as a single mom. Most unprofessional place. Filled out all of the paperwork (in advance as they require) same day. I get contacted needing more insurance info.. ok replied same day. Now weeks later I’m chasing them down leaving voicemails trying to get my kids “first appointment” with them. After lingering weeks to even schedule an appointment, they tell me they REFUSE to see my children back to back. It’s the way the dentist designs her schedule. There is no way for me to bring in two siblings as new patients?? I ask if they can just ask the dentist- nope. Why waste my time with paperwork and leave me waiting around for their crummy response time? Don’t bother. They are wayyy behind the curve here. EDIT to add: no i didnt come there, they claim to be pediatric friendly but i couldnt even set up a first appointment because they refused to see my children on the same day, ever. Also, it is not accurate that i said "I will ruin your business", but it is accurate my experience with filling out your pointless paperwork, endless confusion with your front staff, and a rediculous wait time to get on a schedule that is nonexistent for having 2 children be seen on the same day. Just because paperwork is electronic doesnt mean your office staff and setup is courteous, professional and smart. I took a poll on facebook, and i was recommended ten other pediatric places in the county, nobody mentioned your office. So, NOT a good fit. Your time isnt more valuable than mine."

"Our family has been going to see Dr. Westover here at Polar Dental for the past couple years now. I often recommend their services as after our daughter’s cancer, her office helped us with all her dental care. Today, that has changed. Last month in April, our daughter Elianna ended up with strep throat (this was her fourth time and she’s now scheduled to see a specialist). I called Polar Dental as soon as it was verified strep and rescheduled the appointment. Because, I always schedule the girls together I had to reschedule Isa as well. Today was her rescheduled appointment and while on the way to the office, Elianna felt sick and threw up in the car. I pulled into the office and explained to them that both girls were here but one was sick and I kept her in the car, I needed to reschedule her. The office rescheduled Eli while Isa moved forward with her appointment. I was told while waiting in the office with Isa and after the rescheduled appointment was made that I would need to pay a $35 fee for rescheduling Eli. When I said that I didn’t feel that charge was ok considering that Eli was here and I kept her from coming in due to being sick but if they wanted her in sick, I would go get her. I was told they would talk to the office manager. I waited in the car with Eli until Isa came out of her appointment. Dr. Westover came outside asked how Eli was and proceeded to explain the work Isa would need and update me. After she left, and I signed paperwork I asked if they were still going to charge me $35 for Eli and was told the office manager said they were going to. I asked to speak to Dr. Westover and went inside. The office manger came out and proceeded to speak to me in a condescending manner telling me that I had only given a 16 hour notice in April and they waved the fee then, therefore they weren’t waving it now. I seriously was in shock as my daughter was there for the appointment but I did them a curtesy by not bringing her in so they weren’t exposed to whatever she may have. When I explained my child had strep in April and that was her 4th time, she shrugged her shoulders and said “ok.” When I tried to tell her I had no control over her being sick today she shrugged her shoulders and smiled and said “ok.” When I asked to speak to Dr. Westover she said “that’s her policy.” When I replied with “I realize that and that’s why I want to speak to her.” She deterred me from doing so and then explained same day appointments in which made no sense in our situation. I told her we could proceed with cancelling all 4 of the girls future appointments due to the treatment I was receiving, she laughed and smiled and said “ok.” I told her I was stepping out to calm down and to please have Dr. Westover call me. She said “Ill have DR.! Westover call you” and emphasized the word “Dr”…apparently she didn’t hear me say the title and I stood there again in shock and left. I will never take my children back to this dental office and I am so sorry to all the families that I’ve encouraged to go there. Don’t go! No patient or parent deserves that treatment and apparently staff doesn’t care about one another getting ill. As someone who worked in healthcare most of their lives, it blows my mind that one is faulted for protecting healthcare workers by not bringing their child in sick."
