But the staff made an appointment that same day and gave her treats and loved on her and were very comforting to both of us. I put off having this done for several days but because of the staff I now understand it was necessary for her. She was q6 and had a great life. So thank you to every dedicated staff member for your love and kindness in a tough decision."

"Our 2yr old chocolate lab rescue came to us in OH from a high kill shelter down in Arkansas. While her travel documents said she tested negative for heartworm, her first doggo physical at SVC included blood work which showed she was instead positive. Dr. Kartley has been our vet for the better part of 14 years and has been thru the highs and lows of our our dogs' and cats' lives. She talked us through what the treatment plan for getting her healthy and testing negative again. Heartworm treatment is brutal. It's months of medication multiple times per day and 3 very painful (and stupid expensive) injections. The team at SVC has been AMAZING through this journey with us. We live 30+ min away now in Cuyahoga Falls, but they are like family to us over in the Boro. Totally worth the drive. The time spent with us at appointments is second to none, treatment options are explained in clear understandable details, communication is second to none too. There are myriad vet offices much closer to us, but unless it's a life threatening emergency, we'll continue to make the trip to Streetsboro :)"

"We brought our sick, 13 year old, baby in to see Dr. Kartley at the Streetsboro office. She knew exactly what to to do. Dr. Kartley is a very hands on, get it done, type of vet.
