"It's hard to believe, but I have been taking my pups to SAH for about thirty years. The doctors and staff helped the first two to live long, healthy, and happy lives. Though sad to remember, they also were wonderful when, as the doctor said, my pups were "no longer having fun being dogs". Pup number 3 is still going strong at 9 or 10 years old. Expert advice from SAH helped her recover from a tough life prior to being rescued. She is now happily "employed" as a Pet Partner registered therapy animal, and a wonderful companion. The entire staff from my initial call to the day I had to put him down was so compassionate and I am forever grateful. I miss my baby but I know he had a great life and the best care until the end.
