CareFirst Urgent Care - Wilmington

"I took my daughter here with flu like symptoms. She put on a mask since the sign said "sick people must wear a mask." I approached the desk and the receptionist asked what we needed and I explained all the symptoms and the receptionist had to have me repeat myself while she turned down whatever she was watching on her phone. I was asked if I had registered online and said no. They pointed me to a QR code which I began to use, while also being handed a clipboard with paper. What is the point of doing one thing online but still the clipboard? Anyway I continued on to use the link and tried to take my own id and insurance card pictures but the website kept resetting. I explained this and the receptionist said "just scroll down". I was becoming irritated but tried to do what they said, I held out my phone and said look, I'm doing it, it just keeps resetting. So they sent me a link to do the same thing. Same error. Finally I said "is there please just a scanner you could use like every other medical facility on the planet?" At this point it became important to tell me to put on a mask. See now that I irritated them by making them turn down their Netflix and do work because their janky QR code wouldn't work, NOW they have to weaponise their policy against me. I said how about you just try some customer service in the future and do some actual work, tossed my clipboard on the counter and left. That was 25 minutes ago. I am now just down the street at Greater Tomorrow Health and I tell you it is no wonder they have exploded in popularity. They are growing fast and had signs about their new office in the next town. That growth probably has something to do with the pleasant staff that registered me and did actual work and had my daughter and I in a room in mere minutes. Great place. Coming here from now on. Never going to CareFirst Urgent care again and recommend everyone stay away."

"TRASH. Receptionist is AWFUL. Rudest person I’ve ever had the displeasure of speaking with. Provider did nothing. Still haven’t refunded our money when they did nothing for us. Absolute garbage of a facility and equally as awful staff. I have no idea how they are still open. I hope they get shut down. Negative stars. Nothing positive to say."

"This was my best urgent care experience ever! My daughter was sick while traveling to a horse show; we were able to be in and out within 60 minutes and the care team was so kind and caring."

"Dori was the only reason I gave 2 I give her 5 start but the establishment gets 1 so the wait was horrible! Only to talk to a Dr on the computer... then to only talk to her for like 2 min or less and they were supposed to send my script to the pharmacy next door waited and waited to only find out it hadn't been sent till right before I called to find out what happened. Dori was amazing tho!"

"12/20/23 Heads up as !Booked an appointment on line. Possible broken foot. The uncompassionate and rude front desk associate asked me what I was doing there. I said I made an appointment and I’m here because I have an injury. She asked again. I said I made an appointment. She said, there is no-one here to see you. Tele appointment only. I said it would’ve been nice to know when I made the appointment. She said we never know from day to day. is that anyway to run a business? She could have been so much nicer."
