"I was in an auto accident and was running late, called and let them know so when I got there they said this was being considered a no show and told me to find another physician. Would not refill prescriptions until I found another Dr. Front desk staff is horrible"

"Scheduled an appointment in July for late August. Few days before appointment they reschedule for September. Then they reschedule again. I have a mix up and miss the appointment and get dropped as a patient because "the appointment has been rescheduled too many times" I gave them three stars cause the last reschedule really was totally my fault...but the first two absolutely were not. Also the lady on the phone was willing to help by giving me a number to call to find a different parctice in the Kettering Health Network to schedule with. So even though the final reschedule was my fault I don't think I should be blamed for the first two. Stuff happens. The first reschedule was because the doctor had an emergency. The second was because the nurse practioner changed her hours. I made a mistake. I feel like you should be allowed atleast one mistake."

"The doctors are decent but the office is terrible. When Kettering Health bought the practice, their customer service went to hell. The wait times are actually much shorter now that Kettering is in charge, but it is terribly difficult to get an appointment in a timely manner. If I hadn't been going to Mound Family literally my entire life, I would definitely be using a different family doctor."

"I've been going to Mound for over 10 years now. I have never had a bad experience there and all the staff, including the front desk staff, have always been courteous and helpful. I mainly see Dr. Ashcraft but have seen others when schedules conflicted, and have always received professional service. The wait times are no better or worse than any other medical practice - the later in the day you go the longer your wait will probably be just like anywhere else. Overall, the place feels like a happier small practice; it's one of the better doctor offices I've gone to across the years."

"No matter what your request are, the doctor office staff should never laugh at you. Audible laughter at a patient's request is unprofessional and rude. Some of the office staff at Mound Family Practice are just down right rude and unmoved about their roles within the healthcare experience. If I ask a nurse or professional to ask the doctor a question, it is not their job to tell me I can't ask that question or make that request. Rely messages, provide details that the doctor gives, not deter me or just plain ignore me.. This office has made my experiences with Dr. Hedari painful. She is a decent doctor and I like the doctors personality a lot, but her wait times are crazy. I used to think it was her (the doctor), now I am convinced it is the front office. The office manager told me I should consider other places to receive the care I need. As crazy and unbusiness-like as that was, I am not mad at her. I am sure if the doctor knew she was pushing patients away, they would have a problem, but I liked that. She was honest with my options, and then continued servicing me as I should have been serviced from the beginning. She was the easiest person to talk to. The office manager, despite her statement was professional, not rude or condescending, and I appreciated her candor. She stated my options clearly, explained to me what was needed, and scheduled an appointment for me. I appreciate her for that and if the nurse and other staff I have spoken to could follow, her nice clear yet cut throat manner.... I would be a pleased patient."
