"Yal staff need to do better with handling kids. My daughter and my niece got suspended then not allowed to go back because they defended theyselfs when my daughter was getting jumped. And now since they handled theyselves now they not allow to go back and they started not even 30 days ago. The ones that started with my daughter need to be kicked out too"

"Looked like a pretty decent school goes all the way to 12th grade, no dress code, and they supply school supplies, school starts from 8am to 230pm"

"I did believe in Steel Academy and what they offered for typical and non- typical students. However over the last couple of months I have lost faith in what they touted to be safe and educational. Many of the children here have learning disabilities, outburst and such that is constantly left unaddressed. However children suffering behavioral issues should not put my children at risk...nor should they be continuously bullied with little or no school support. This impedes on them being able to learn. I hope that the institution can bring safety to those wanting an education and parents wanting their children home safe."

"Our grandson wasn't being educated in Innes. he was transferred to Steel Academy and has done well academically as well as mentally. Best move ever. He gets the one on one attention he needs."

"My child went to Steel, in that time we had seen many teachers come and go, a horrible mess with two principals, nothing was stable and no one there ever communicated, the school was a whirlwind out of control. I withdrew my child and enrolled him in another school that was much more stable then steel was. I found out so many things through the department of education that Steel was not following, state standards for education, my son had some catching up to do to make sure he could graduate on time because steel neglected to make sure the students had there requirements for graduation. I would never make this mistake again and wouldn't suggest it to anyone else"
