"Terrible euthanasia experience They neglected to tell us that there was a base cost of 250 to get our cats ashes returned to us, on top of the 200 they charge for the procedure. I found out from my bank statement. They interrupted the actual procedure during the last few minutes of our cats life, to get a signature they had initially forgot about. This could have waited was over. They continued to misgender the cat even after we corrected the tech during his euthanasia. Did you not read his chart before putting him down? I have called 3 times already to discuss these problems and have received no help or a call back from management. They do not seem to care. My family and friends used to go to this vet when they opened, since then however the cost they charge has continued to rise, obviously without an increase in quality of care. They need retraining, if in the area Pleasant Ridge Pet Hospital just down the street offers better care and service at a better price."

"I will never use another vet! Dr. Dryer and the staff at Eastside are the best! Their care and compassion are sincere and honest. I have been with Dr. Dryer for 20+ years and I am happy to be with the staff again at the new location. I recently adopted a new dog and Rhody was able to go and get his annual updates. "They were able to get my puppy in within an hour after being sick all weekend! We were assigned a room right when we walked in and the vet was very clear when describing our options and the treatment plan. The facility was very clean and payment was easy. Hoping to not have to have another urgent visit but if so, Eastside Animal Hospital will be my first choice."

"Excellent vet for my kitty! Dr. Ashley and his staff are great. The office is only a year old. Everything is neat and organized and squeaky clean (they had just mopped the floors when I came.) But the best part is how knowledgeable Dr. Ashley is. He listened to me and heard me out. He was thoughtful about what I had to say and then offered his considerable experience. My 7 yr old cat has IBD or Lymphoma - only way to tell is a surgical biopsy, and even that is not a sure thing. It's frustrating that we don't know more about this disease in cats. I came here for a second opinion and while I love my first vet and will stay there for my dog, I'm going to switch my cats to Dr. Ashley. He seems to have a lot of experience and is up to date on the latest research (I've read all the papers I can find on this topic and he mentioned some of what I had read). He shared what has worked with other cats he has treated and offered a new approach I had not considered. We won't be able to cure my kitty, but I have confidence that between us, we can treat her symptoms and make her as happy and comfortable as possible. Hopefully for years to come. Bonus 1: when Dr. Ashley did the thorough exam of my kitty he said out loud what he was checking and if it was normal or not. For someone like me who craves information, that was interesting and valuable. Bonus 2: they called me a few days after the visit just to check on her and make sure she was doing okay. Feels so nice to know I'm not fighting this alone and have someone who cares and can help. His staff are wonderful too! They don't rush you and they really listen and care."
