"I used to think think this was the best Chinese in the area. Used to think 5 star for sure. Last 2 times have been lackluster. Chicken not much flavor to it. This last visit mywife and I both ordered chicken dishes. Broccoli chicken for her with pork fried rice. Teriyaki chicken for me with with rice. She got white rice with barely any flavor chicken. My chicken had ZERO teriyaki. Tasted just like hers, boring as all heck. Not sure what happened to this place. Hope they fix it. I can prepare better tasting Chinese food than we were served this last visit. I might try again in a year and see if they figure things out."

"3rd time I've been here over the course of a year and my last time. Not sure what I'm missing here for them to be rated 4.5. Our food pretty much tasted like heated up left overs. Nothing tasted fresh and the chicken was extremely dry & overcooked. I think my thumb might be bigger than the chewy egg roll. I see other reviews talking about the friendly family there but I wouldn't know because my only interaction was with a little girl who took my money and gave me my food. I can only hope that No. 1 don't give me No. 2 all night."

"We love this for Chinese take out. The food is delicious and we love the family that owns it. We have had the beef and broccoli, ribs, beef chow mein, hunan combination, fried rice and egg rolls. Everything was delicious. I recommend calling ahead and picking up the order. Some nights we just don’t want to cook but we also don’t want fast food…this is the perfect solution."

"I’ve been going to the same Chinese place for years and was ready for a change. I was at a friends house in New Franklin and she ordered Chinese for me at No. 1 Kitchen. It was really good so I decided to try it in my town. I ordered Shrimp curry with onion and vegetables with white rice, egg rolls and crab rangoon. First, an egg roll. So fresh and delicious. No old oil taste or risking breaking a tooth on it. Then the crab rangoon. I couldn’t believe how light and crisp and fresh they were. The crab filling is slightly sweet as it should be. I mean, really? Freakin fantastic. Now on to the curry. It tastes just as wonderful as it looks. The shrimp were huge. The flavor was amazing. Spicy spicy. Lol. I couldn’t have asked for a better meal. And on Christmas Eve! The woman who answered the phone was so nice and had a very pleasant voice. I was expecting an attitude since it was Christmas Eve evening but nope. Not at all. Great food and great customer service! My new Chinese joint."

"All I can say is oh my goodness! I've been looking for a new Chinese place in our area for a long time most of the places around here fall short to say the least. I do food delivery for a living and I only live 2.7 miles away I ordered I walked out of my house I drove down there and it was waiting for me when I walked in the door. Everything is hot and fresh and taste homemade. The staff was super friendly and it was clean and inviting when I came in the door. The prices are amazing and the portions are more than generous! I can say without a doubt that I am definitely a new regular!!!"
