"Food was very good. The vodka pasta sauce did lack a bit in flavor, but everything else was amazing. The pizza is great. There was a draft in the corner where we sat, and it was a little crowded in there."

"Visited Vaccaros Trattoria a couple of weeks ago for my birthday celebration. What an exceptional experience! The meal was amazing! We enjoyed talking with the owner about the special Italian tomato that a local gardener grows for the restaurant. He was so generous to provide a container of the sauce to take home. BEST SAUCE EVER! And by far, my favorite Italian restaurant. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent Italian cuisine. Everything is homemade daily and you can tell by the quality of the food and the pride in the staff. The pasta was excellent and a very different experience than you'll get from an average chain restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant not only for the food but also for the environment and experience. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Wine list is extensive if you choose to buy a bottle. The real question is why wouldn't you buy a bottle?! We went on a Monday night so there was no wait but I would guess a reservation is recommended to ensure seating."

"We were so excited to go here because we've heard such good reviews, but overall it was pretty disappointing. My glass of Cab was good, the bread was decent, and my husband thought his lobster and shrimp pasta was OK. The calamari was half hot and half cold, soggy, and drenched in oil. I ordered my salmon medium rare and it came out medium-well to well. My dish was also drenched in oil, literally pools of it on the plate. I had to stop eating it after a few bites because the oil was making me nauseous. We're very sad because this is so close to our home, but we probably won't be back."
