About the Business

MISSION BBQ

MISSION BBQ is a patriotic institution located at 8225 West Ridgewood Drive in Parma, Ohio, United States. Specializing in authentic, mouth-watering all-American BBQ, this restaurant was inspired by a cross-country journey in search of the best BBQ in the nation. The mission of MISSION BBQ is to honor and serve those who protect and serve our communities, including our military, veterans, police, firefighters, and first responders. Since opening in 2011, MISSION BBQ has donated over $25,000,000 to support vital charities and give back to those who sacrifice so much for others.

One example of the dedication to service at MISSION BBQ is General Manager Jimi in Robinson, PA, who always puts the needs of his teammates first. His selfless leadership has earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues, demonstrating the core values of the institution.

The spirit of service and sacrifice is further exemplified by individuals like Tom Glenn, a former NSA employee who was on the last helicopter out of Saigon during Operation Frequent Wind in 1975. These stories of heroism and selflessness inspire the mission of MISSION BBQ to always put others first and honor those who serve our country and communities.

"We had three ladies for lunch and it was our first time at Mission BBQ. Jazz and Samantha took their time explaining the menu and how food was prepared and how to order. Jazz kept an eye on us in the dining room and explained the bbq sauces to us. She was a gem!! Our food was delicious and we had a great time. Especially loved how they play/stand/sing the National Anthem at noon! We will be back:)"

"I got medically retired two months ago and it has been a difficult time looking back at my career in the military, coming here nearly brought tears to my eyes. Everyone was so respectful and patient, this might be a small issue of mine but I can hardly hear and the staff was so mindful of my family and me. Thank you everyone for being so kind and bringing a smile to my family. Bonus the food was fantastic!"

"The ribs were good, but lacked flavor. I picked the smoked BBQ sauce which is pretty good. The coleslaw was fresh and tasted great. I did not really like the baked beans it tasted like ketchup. The cornbread was so good. The service was amazing."

"This place was above and beyond in service and food with a fun atmosphere! Pictures here were taken outside of mission bbq. This was a 9/11 memorial ride meet up stop. From there the group went to PA then to DC and up to NYC."

"March 2022 - team meeting ended with lunch here. I ordered the brisket, Mac n cheese, and green beans. Pros: * The brisket was delicious and very tender. * They are setup somewhat like a fast food restaurant...you order food and 5-10 minutes later, you get it. You add your own sauces and fill your own drinks. * The portions were larger than expected. I got a half pound of brisket, which filled me up. Did not really need the 2 sides. * The staff was super friendly. They had come up to our table several times to make sure that our visit and experience was pleasant. * The decor is nice and has numerous patches from local service persons, first responders, and police departments. Cons: * Prices were a touch more expensive (close to $30) than I would have liked. However, this an issue at many businesses during the pandemic era. * There was a variety of barbecue sauces to choose from, but I only liked 2 of them out the bunch. Conclusion: I will return."
